The Felix Culpa- Sever Your Roots

Man, I'll never understand how mediocre bands get huge and bands like this are left in the dust. This is yet another great band that broke up in this year. They had two glorious full lengths and an EP to their name. I saw them once with The Dear Hunter and they completely stole the show. They were for sure a live band to be reckoned with and on record they sound great too. They play a grown up, passionate form of post-hardcore in the vein of Thrice during Vheissu. As soon as you listen to the first 10 seconds of this record you realize that people don't make music like this anymore. Get into it.
