(Classic) Desaparcidos- Read Music/ Speak Spanish [2002]

This is very short lived post hardcore in the vein of Fugazi, super group. They had Coner Fucking Oberst on vocals and guitar, so you what to expect, raw emotional vocals with some of the best lyrics this side of the Mississippi. But this is very different from any Bright Eyes record, the lyrics are said from a kinda omniscient point of view, kinda talking about the world at large instead of personal issues.Favorite tracks include "Mall of America" and "Hole in One". This is by far the best Bright Eyes side project.
